This complete overhaul of the historic Kerr estate included the main house and all surrounding garden spaces. Keeping with the formal style of the neighboring estates, traditional stone and brick materials were used for the walls and paving. Lawn terraces connect the main house to the pool and great lawn. The former schoolhouse, now acting boat house, connects to the main house with ribbons of paving that travel through parterre planting beds filled with roses.

Three fire features were added to the property, including a formal fire feature at the pool, a private fire feature close to the kitchen, and a rustic fire feature in the woods below the lawn terrace. Honoring the existing mature garden and plants, new plant material was added to frame views and provide privacy.
